The Broomfield Photo Club is a group of photographers that enjoy taking pictures for fun. We share our photos and learn from our lecturers and co-members. We are open to anyone who would like to learn and share photos. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend. The club’s goal is to improve photographers’ skills through display and critique.
We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, with the exception of December. A typical meeting consists of a presentation by either a professional photographer, or a club member. After the presentation, member digital photos are displayed and critiqued. The Assigned subject is shown first, followed by the Open subjects. Photos are critiqued by either the presenter or the club members.
Photo Subject Assignments
We have assigned subjects each month (see Calendar).
One of the unique privileges the club provides is the opportunity to have your photos published in the Broomfield Enterprise. Each month, photos from the club are highlighted in the center fold of the paper. This issue comes out in the Sunday edition and is delivered with the Denver Post.
If you don’t have home delivery of the paper, you can pick up a copy from the Enterprise headquarters which are located here:
